I am 47 years old and decided to change my career direction. I have always thought about getting in to real estate investing, I have been in the construction industry for 30 years, I was a lead journeyman electrician for 15 years, a general contractor for 5 years, and this time for 4 years, and a remodeler the whole time. I know and have done myself every phase of residential and commercial remodeling, I can do everything from foundation to finish with a higher quality of workmanship than you would expect from any professional tradesman. I have done many jobs for people flipping houses and always thought to myself I should be doing this, but I never seemed to have the time or finances to change careers. Now my kids are grown and since the pandemic put my business down I decided this is as good a time as any. So I am trying to learn all I can about investing, finding house deals, creative financing, and wholesaling, I am also interested in maybe partnering up with someone with knowledge and experience in investing, and funding. I have the knowledge and experience in evaluating projects and getting them done right at the lowest possible price, and my wife does the same with the landscaping, and staging of properties.
