I'm a beginning investor who's been sitting on the sidelines learning, learning, learning. It's time to switch gears and put all that learning into action. I would like to build a real estate portfolio of single and multifamily properties, with some short and mid term rentals sprinkled in. I currently work a W2 position as the Deputy CIO for a federal agency, so I've got strong leadership, organizational, strategic, operational and tactical thinking skills. I've been in the IT industry for over 25 years, so I've got a bit of a technical background too. I'm determined to be as successful in this arena as I have been in my professional career.
